Judith Mehr's ability to translate three-dimensional reality onto the two dimensions of canvas has distinguished her as one of today's premier artists. Judith achieved a reputation as a fine portrait artist and genre scene painter early in her 22-year career and has exhibited oil and watercolor landscapes, still-lifes, and genre scenes in galleries and art festivals throughout the United States. Her paintings are included in the collections of government, corporate, and private collections in the Western United States, Georgia, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, and Japan.

Judith was born in San Francisco, California and attended school in the Bay Area. She received an art scholarship to Brigham Young University in 1969 and graduated with a BFA degree in 1974. Judith remained at school and began pursuing a MFA degree when a part-time art teaching opportunity arose. After a year of graduate school, she returned to California and began an active art career. Judith now resides in Salt Lake City.
